At Pragati Multipurpose Social Services Society, we are committed to the holistic development and empowerment of underprivileged communities in Bawana, Delhi. Our programs aim to bring sustainable change by addressing critical social issues. Below are the key programs we run:
This initiative focuses on creating cleaner and healthier environments in marginalized communities. Through awareness drives, waste management workshops, and community clean-up efforts, we strive to build a cleaner future for the residents of Bawana and surrounding areas.
Our mission is to make Delhi a child labour-free zone. We identify vulnerable children, rescue them from hazardous work, and provide rehabilitation, education, and skill-building opportunities. We work closely with local authorities to ensure children’s rights are upheld.
Our Child Protection Team works to safeguard children from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. Through counseling services, legal aid, and support to families, we ensure that every child can grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
Empowering individuals with the skills and confidence to defend themselves, this program offers free self-defence and martial arts training, especially for women and children. It not only boosts physical strength but also fosters mental resilience.
Through various public awareness campaigns, we address issues such as gender equality, education rights, health and hygiene, and more. Our team organizes community sessions to raise awareness and educate individuals about their rights and responsibilities.
The Mahila Panchayat program provides a platform for women to come together, discuss, and resolve community issues. This program empowers women to actively participate in local governance and seek justice for gender-based violence and discrimination.
Our SHG initiative focuses on women’s empowerment through financial literacy and entrepreneurship. We support women in forming Self Help Groups where they can save money, access microloans, and start small businesses, helping them become financially independent.
We believe that the development of women and children is key to a prosperous community. Our programs focus on nutrition, education, and skill-building for women and children, enabling them to live healthier, more productive lives.
Through our career counseling program, we guide young people in exploring career paths, preparing for job opportunities, and developing the necessary skills to succeed in various professions. We aim to build a future where the youth of Bawana can achieve their full potential.
